Recently learned that Korg is making a new digital music machine in the accordion format, I've been listening to all the demo music I can find on YT and it seems quite the extensive range of instruments it can simulate, even has a much better violin than most violin imitations. I'd love to get one myself but it's kinda out of sight in cost for now. Perhaps I can swing it in time. I have my plans to create a climate controlled tropical garden. Normally called a greenhouse. But have it fully heated and cooled to stay comfortable for me and the plants. Then add a sound system, and be able to tend the gardens and make music also. (clothes free of course) It has wireless connection so I guess that means it doesn't need to be plugged into an amp to be played through an amp.
I was out in the shop, tinkering on a project and the local FM station was having a 70s weekend playlist. It was phenomenal!! The list really had me in mind as I remember listening to those tunes riding up and down the road during my teenage years. Nothing like bringing back old vibes while trying to get a little work done. You can't go back to those prior times (yet??) but the memories are alive & well. If the objective of music is to make you feel good, that afternoon's tunes were more than successful. More please!!!
Yesterday was another tinkering in the shop day ... and it was a great day for tunes. After listening to the radio for a bit, I put 'Meatloaf - Bat outta hell' CD and let it run followed by 'Dobbie Brothers - Greatest hits' and kept on working. It's a great way to keep the afternoon moving along. And, you get a big smile to go along with it!!
