Dark Mofo 2024 - winter solstice swim
Hey, I'm new to the group, but flying down later today to do the winter solstice swim tomorrow morning. Seems like fun, hope the weather is OK. Looking forward to the swim and a great time in Hobart. My partner has a ticket too but is very nervous about doing it. Any tips for a first timer and to her partner trying to encourage?
She didn't do it last year. We went again this year but she chickened out again. I think 3000 other people all nude at the same time scared her, maybe a simple quiet CO beach might be better for her first experience.
Poor choice of words, my lovely partner could just not bring herself to do it. Very confronting for a first timer to strip off in public with 3000 others. I had fun, she watched and enjoyed the sight and funny experience.
