Pirate's Cove, Avila California
Calling All Nudists...Calling All Nudists...
We need your help! Please visit Pirate's Cove Nude Beach in Avila,
California. We need more visitors to help us push back against a
"college crowd" of kids using the beach for drinking parties and
other gatherings. They are attempting to take over the beach and
push nudists out. They generally take over the beach area closest
to the trail, and are always clothed. We occupy the other half of
the beach, and make it a point to walk to and from the trail nude
to reinforce the fact that it's a nude beach. We need more people
to discover this beach and join us!
The beach is located just East of Avila Beach, and actually runs
nearly East/West, which means that the sun exposure is perfect all
day. When other beaches on the Central Coast are cold and foggy,
Pirate's Cove is often sunny and warm, since the sun shines on it
all day, and the wind flows around the beach rather than on it.
It's quiet, clean, has a nice, calm cove in which to swim, and has
been owned by the County of San Luis for years now with nudity
tolerated, if not protected by the County Supervisors...so far.
Visit Pirate's Cove and make sure to tell the shop, restaurant and
hotel owners that you came for that purpose! They need to know the
economic impact of this beautiful little nude beach. Also be sure
to end your day of sunning naked with an hour of soaking naked at
Sycamore Mineral Springs, located just a mile or so from Pirate's
Cove. It's a perfect naked day on the Central Coast of
California.
Come join us and help save our beautiful beach from becoming just
another boring, pointless textile beach. We have enough of those
already. See you there!
