Mowing the Yard Nude
Return to DiscussionsI have enjoyed mowing my yard while nude. The zero turn mower has two arm rests whIch allows me to put my shorts and a shirt to hide a little. I have been mostly mowing across so there is minimal direct view from the road. I can do all but the area outside the fence. Traffic goes pretty fast and has limited chance to look so it is not too risky. I can turn strategically when needed. Today a cyclist came by. He did not look like he was paying any attention, just watching the road and cars. Anyone else like mowing while nude.
goosej, I believe that, sometimes, the little electron Gremlins come in and create unknown and unexplained havoc! All we mere mortals can do is be patient AND persistent! LOL
I LIKE the look of your new shorts! Those should provide you with MINIMUM coverage when you mow out in the front yard.
Today (my Thursday, here in Oz) is my last chance to mow before tomorrow's bin day and... wouldn't you know it? ... an early morning shower just passed through! But it wasn't a heavy rain, so if the sun dries out the lawn by this afternoon, I'll be out mowing naked! (The BACK yard, at least!) Photos to follow! LOL
It's been pretty wet around the ol' homestead lately... but FINALLY on Wednesday I was able to get out and mow. The backyard was done NUDE, of course. The front... well, I still have to put on shorts and a shirt to mow. Later this summer I may do the front topless, but the weather isn't hot enough yet to "justify" that.
This Thursday was a bright, sunny beautiful day here in Oz... and time to do my weekly mowing. The back yard was done nude, as usual, but for an extra little bit of daring fun, I decided to leave the gate open while I mowed. Traffic passing by on the street COULD have gotten a glimpse of me, but, as we all know, drivers are notorious for NOT noticing much except for what is directly in front of them. Someone WALKING BY would have been a whole OTHER matter, but nobody did (at least as far as I know). When I finished the back yard, I put on my skimpy, nylon running shorts, with the sides split to the waist, and a loose shirt, which I left unbuttoned. As I was mowing, two cars drove past and neither one so much as slowed down. Just as I finished, the neighbor across the street and two houses up came home. I pushed the mower into the back yard, got naked again, and proceeded to put the machine away. THEN I went and closed the gate.
Minimalist75, I put on a loose-fitting, sleeveless, button-up shirt, and left it unbuttoned, MOSTLY to help conceal the fact that the shorts are split on the side, clear up to the waist. With the shirt on and hanging open, the shorts look quite demure from the front and back, and the shirt hangs down far enough on the sides to help hide a good portion of the LEG visible in the split. It still FEELS like I'm almost naked... but doesn't LOOK that way to the casual observer or passer-by.

I don't think I have ever seen a sleeveless button up shirt.

I would probably wear shorts that weren't split on the side rather than wear some sort of shirt to cover the splits, but to each their own.
Sleeveless buttoned shirt as typified by Paul Hogan's 'Hoges' character.
