  • Worst experience of my life

    I visited Bar-S-Ranch about two years ago and have yet to return. The people there were not accepting of a single male and the lady who works in the office told me I wouldn’t be allowed in, even though I am an AANR member and I had called to advise of my trip the week before. No one present would talk to me, the pool was way too small and the volleyball crowd felt they owned the pool. I highly suggest people stay away from this place.

  • Most Excellent For Fun/Interaction with likeminded people

    Has been while since I spent time there, not sure of date. In any case, time on Bar-S is a forgotten word. The attendees are always great people, super camaraderie. Lots to do or do nothing, Quiet, nature at its best. Well worth you time if your looking for a resort that has no problem with old phrase, "come as you are." Really nice place.

    Pros: relaxation, fun, nice place,, the best.

    Cons: none to speak of,,,,, except got sunburned penis, but that was my fault... LOL :)

    Large location. Very wooded and clean. Not much to do there besides chill out, read a book and sit by the pool. Very small pool and only about 20 fellow nudists there.

    Just a few words about the Bar-S-Ranch, as a first time vistor to a nudist lifestyle we were very much impressed with the people and property. On the second day we signed up as members, that was three years ago and still very much enjoy the quite life offered at the Ranch. Lake Wanda is really full of fish, the volley ball games are always alot of fun. There are several miles of well kept trails for walking or golf carts. The pool is a great place to relax with others while enjoying the warm North Carolina sun. I would recommend this place to anyone, the camping area is very nice, quite and sh…

    Pros: Clean, Quite, 400 plus acres, Lake, Pool, Club house and cafe.

    Cons: We still have to work for a living and can`t stay long enough.
