No single men
1.00I know i'm talking to myself in the wind here but it really is sad that so many clothing optional resorts are being bought up and closed in Palm Springs. And it really sucks that this resort only allows couples and single women. I love being persecuted because I'm a male. Funny how to when the shoe is on the other foot its OK. Yes I saw that they allow a small amount of single men to book rooms well in advance, good luck. They also talk about keeping the ratio of men to women equal. How about allowing X number of each pass to sold for each day up until a certain time and then its first come fi…
Pros: Looks really nice.
Cons: No single men allowed to buy day passes.

Top Resort
5.00I just spent five days at the Desert Sun. It was my first visit so I was a little apprehensive about the property. The Desert Sun exceeded my expectations so I am already looking at future dates for a return visit. The staff was wonderful, the rooms are good, and the grounds are amazing. Once there, you cannot wait to get outdoors first thing in the morning. As for my fellow guests, they were top quality individuals from all over.
Pros: Very well maintained.
Cons: Small showers

Luxurious grounds
5.00We stayed here for one night during a road trip across country. Got in after sunset and it was quiet, with a handful of people on the grounds the following morning. Three pools, lush landscaping, nice room. The front desk suggested a small diner for breakfast that we enjoyed so much we stop there during every visit to Palm Springs.
Pros: Beautiful facility
Cons: Can seem like a ghost town if there aren`t many people there.

Amazing place
4.00We have been to a few resorts in California this year. this was one of the nicer location. They have 3 beautiful pools and a pretty good restaraunt. We have only been here once on a day pass. We sort of liked that they primarily allow couples and try to discourage single men. I doubt my wife would be willing to go if they did allow single men. The ONLY complaint we have is the price for the rooms, and the minimum nights. in our experience, is that a day pass is $75 per couple, and a holiday weekend is $125/couple. for a day pass, all you get is access, and the use of a locker. If you try to ma…
Pros: amazing facilities, food, music

5 Star / 5 Diamond service
5.00Hi, I am staying at the Desert Sun Resort from 6/3-6/6. This is my first stay here, and I have to say they do giver great service. I was impressed with the front office right off the bat, Jimmy checked me in and is very gracious and did a great job. I met the GM Michael and he was very hospitable. When I got to my room, it was clean and pleasant. I did notice that the bathroom is on the old side, but very clean. I can`t remeber the last time I saw the type of heater that is in the bathroom, years for sure. But you don`t need a heater when it`s 111 outside, do you!!!!! I ate at the restaurant o…

Only one day.....
5.00I arrived late on Saturday due to low clouds and rain my flight was diverted to Los Angeles. When if finally arrived on the bus it was still raining. Things got much better when I was checked in by the wonderful staff. The room I received was very nice and comfortable. The next day the sun came out and I was able to check out the great facility. I will certainly come back when I have more time.
Pros: Great room, wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and good food.
Cons: A bit older crowd

What a great place!
5.00This was my second time at Desert Sun; they`ve upgraded some of the rooms since last year, adding freshened baths and beds, which was a nice touch. It was pretty busy on Saturday, but quiet on Sunday and Monday. The grounds are excellent, and it is very centrally located in Palm Springs, which is a plus. Slightly older crowd; the resort is very singles-friendly (I went alone).
Pros: Nice pools, singles-friendly, great location.
Cons: Small gym, no sauna, breakfast not available.

We will do more than just a day visit next time!
5.00My wife and I had a terrific time at Desert Sun Resort! This was our first visit to a nude Spa and our experience has guaranteed that my wife will go again! The resort is very well maintained and beautiful throughout. The three separate pool areas make it possible to find just the right atmosphere. And the message (I had) and facial (wife had) were amazing as well. This was a great first time experience and we look forward to a longer stay next time. Can`t wait to go back!
Pros: Peacful, well maintained, several options, large nude area, friendly staff,
Cons: none!
