Great little local secret
5.00This local beauty is a fabulous place to get away for any amount of time. They offer rooms in the lodge for rent every night ($35 I think) and grounds fees are $30 for first timers and $35 for repeat customers. The owner doesn’t believe in the internet, and that’s why you can’t find out much about it online. I promise you, it’s there and open for business. Warning: heterosexual couples only. No singles allowed on the park grounds.

Never got past the gate
1.00My husband and I wanted to tour G-V before a planned day visit. We were greeted at the gate by an elderly man who told us we would have to pay full day fees just to tour the park. We told him we were AANR members (and had our cards), owned a house at a FL nude resort and had plans to return the next day- but he insisted that we would have to pay the full day fees just to tour the property. Really?? Most clubs allow a free first visit. Mind you, we just wanted a quick 5 minute tour. So, never did see the park, nor will we ever. Total lack of customer service.

Look past the old building
4.00I can see how the previous reviewer was completely turned off by the guy on the phone; we almost didn`t go because of him too. The website is just a small page with no real hint of what the place is really like. we called ahead to let them know we were coming, then called again when almost there to tell them we were running late. they were courteous enough to not lock their gates on us before we got there (strict 5pm policy). after a rather lengthy explanation of the rules, we were escorted down to the lodge where we had a room for the night. it was small and spartan but completely comfortable…
Pros: very friendly residents, great southern hospitality, nice quiet laid-back atmosphere, super prices
Cons: lodge is a little old, but that`s easily overlooked. the park`s location is a bit out of the way, but isn`t hard to find thx to googlemaps
