1.00IBSP used to have a pretty good-sized set of regulars who would flaunt the rules to enjoy the sun, maybe 30 years ago. Rangers have cracked down harder on CO use -- getting ticketed would be rather expensive -- I think partly because the Dead River area had gotten something of a cruising reputation. I haven't seen any nude use in a couple years, at either the North (17th St) or South (Wadsworth Rd) units. The beach erosion has also made it harder to find a spot where you can see down the beach but can't be seen.
Pros: Miles of beaches
Cons: Ranger enforcement, lack of shelter from prying eyes.
