• I'm tent camper

  I stayed there overnight on a Thursday. Only a few people, but those I met were really nice. Jim, the owner, came by my site early Friday and we talked for about an hour and got to know each other. He explained how active the place gets to be over the weekend. If you want to get the best feel for the place, go during the weekend. If you want the serenity of a lazy swim in the pool, during the week. No restaurants immediately nearby and nothing to offer there so plan accordingly. I enjoyed it and looking forward to more visits in summer of 2018.

  Pros: spacious and tranquil.

  Cons: Need to get some tips for the pool table cue!

  I was looking forward to visiting Juniper Woods based on reviews I read. I was however somewhat underwhelmed. The only "activity" was a small swimming pool. It felt cliquish (sp?) to me. The ponds looked unappealing to boat or fish in.

  Pros: Easy access

  Cons: no hiking trails

  It wasn`t very crowded at that time of year but the weather was fantastic. Jim, the owner, was very accommodating and in actuality I had most of the place to me and maybe a dozen others. I am makinh them my first stop this year if it ever stops raining and warms up.

• A Great place to visit

  Me and my fiance` heard about juniper woods from friends and decided to visit. It was our first time at a nudist resort/campground and it was by far one of the most enjoyable times in our lives as a couple. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went back several times before the end of the season last year in 2010. Wes & Patricia
