beautiful facility with friendly people
5.00We drove to Mountaindale Sun Resort northwest of Portland OR. MSR is a beautiful, large clean facility which we enjoyed immensely. The pool is large although not heated. The facilities in the clubhouse are first rate, although no food is available. You can store your food in their refrigerator. The resort is on the top of a hill. Views are scenic. The people were very nice.
Pros: complete facilities
Cons: distance from Portland

Great Mountain Air
4.00I first visited Mountain Air Ranch last April and had such a great time I returned the next day for another great hike. The trails are fantastic mountain hiking and the people were friendly, I felt very welcome and had a terrific time. Plan to head back to MAR this May for more great hiking in that great mountain air.
Pros: Great trials, great people
Cons: Snow in April

Friendly people, close to Portland
5.00I have been here many times. I like that they have hiking trails through wooded areas that are safe to hike nude, and a nice pool. On my last few visits they no longer had a snack bar, so you should brign your own snacks. If you happen to go on a day with a "cabin crawl" definitely go on it. You go from cabin to cabin and sample food at each cabin. It is definitely worth the cabin crawl fee. I tend to prefer to go on days when there are no events, so the place is virtually uncrowded. NOTE: The pool here is solar heated, so the pool temperature may be cold sometimes.
Pros: Hiking trails, nice pool and sun deck. Less than an hour from Portland.
Cons: They closed down the snack bar (2014).

As good as expected
5.00I went here with a nudist friend of mine ( ShyTiger6 ) and we had a pretty good time. We first walked the perimeter trail system when we arrived, had a small lunch in the snack bar, took a dip in the pool where we met a few other members, and then took part in the "Cabin Crawl" ( a progressive-style potluck ) event they were going to hold that day. After being stuffed from the good food everyone made, we all sat at the fire pit located near the pool, to watch and be entertained by a jam session they had going there with live music. All in all, a lot of friendly people were here, and…
Pros: Friendly people, clean pool, good hiking trails, and good food!
Cons: Too bad the pool is closed during the winter time, this would make a great retreat then!

Absolutely amazing
5.00My wife and I visited MSR for the first time ever on the 17th. We made prior arrangements to stay for the weekend and leave on Sunday. I was extremely excited to go, the wife, was just happy get away from the house and the kids for three days. She isn`t all that thrilled with being nude. We had a slow start and got things set up in our tent site and had lunch. I was nude the second I arrived, she chose to stay in her swim suit for a while. A few hours after being there she was ready to get wet, but not thrilled about having to ditch her cloths for the pool. She was a trooper and did it though.…
Pros: Trails, Pool, Hot Tub, decks, chairs, food, conversation and a sense of community felt no where else.
Cons: 11 miles to the closest store if you need more beer... and 11 miles the other direction to the liqueur store that`s open till 10PM.
