  I was on this beach this month and I will say that I liked it more than all the others I have been to. This is a very beautiful and clean beach. With real ocean waves and bare asses on the sand. I recommend visiting this beach.

  Went three times during my stay in Melbourne even though it was an hour drive to the beach. Thunderstorms cut the first two trips short. Got more than my limit of sun the third day when the beach held more sunbathers (and a few swimmers) than the first two visits together. Got there a little late and had to park in lot 11. When I left the beach via boardwalk 12, there were nude sunbathers even farther south so it looks like the accepted C/O section is growing.

  Pros: Lots of space to spread out.

  Cons: Weather was less than pleasant until 4/4/2022 when the sun finally came out.

  Waves were rough - not the best of days for a beach day... have been multiple times and the people seem very nice. BIGGEST problem - the area 13 parking lot fills early and may need to walk a long way to get to the nude use area. FUNNY how clothed people take the few spots meant for naked folks... so many people for the fact that the entrance fee is $20... we got the year long pass... would go more often but I live on the other coast of FL... everyone should give the place a chance once in their lifetime...

  Pros: Secluded - peaceful - great place for tanning and chatting to like minded nude people!

  Cons: PARKING - parking - parking - - very rustic no running water and bathrooms can be absolutely disgusting if not recently vacuumed out... also - check NASA launch schedule - if a rocket is going up - - they close the beach!!

  Was exactly as advertised, a nice expanse is beach with naked people of all ages minding their own business. I was hoping to be able to walk for a few miles down the coast, but additional permits are required there.

  Pros: Nice swath of beach, good experiences with other people there

  Cons: Not a really interesting beach. Water gets deep quickly and beach is fenced off behind, so not much to do other than to ‘be on the beach’

  Been going to the beach several days, skipped today to give the tan a rest. The rangers added new sign on the way in saying parking lot 13 was for nude sunbathing. Guess its official you can be naked at 13 and half way to 12. Went by the rangers and they wished me a good day

  One of the best nude beaches I have been to. There's plenty of room to spread out and plenty of space to walk the beach.

  Playalinda Beach comes in second to Haulover Beach when compared to the clothing optional beaches in Florida in our opinion. The sand and surf are exceptional. No one bothered us--very friendly. Parking lot #13 is right at the C/O part of the Canaveral National Seashore. However there are no vendors for sodas and snacks. Restroom facilities are crude but close. Again, the beach and water are just fabulous. The beach less than 1 1/2 hours from Orlando and the attractions.

  Pros: Wonderful sand and surf.

  Cons: Lack of vendors. Only basic restroom facilities.

  I have been a nudist at heart for a long time but had nowhere to experience it. I recently moved here from Indiana and searched for a good place. I went by myself and felt very comfortable. It was busier than I expected but that is fine. All in all a great experience. I would like to find people to go with. Let me know if you go there.

  We enjoyed our first visit to Playalinda Beach! We arrived at lot #13 around 10:30 AM on a Sunday morning, saw it was full, but waited as a few individuals were departing. After a few minutes of waiting we were able to park near the dune boardwalk crossing point! There were lots of folks on the beach which actually surprised us. We headed north and after a few hundred feet we set up our chairs for a relaxing few hours. The water was warm...near 80. degrees but the waves packed some serious punch.   Pros: - Nice and clean sand - The National Park Service rangers were very nice at check in - No hazardous wildlife on the beach - Everyone seemed very friendly - Pretty location!

  We visited here for the first time and not many people were here. We usually go to Haulover and live it. We are from Arkansas and there's no Kesha's nudist areas there unfortunately so we enjoy coming to Florida every chance we get. Would like to find more areas like this closer to the panhandle area.   My wife and I spend a couple of days going out to Playalinda , the last parking lot is the Naturist area, changing rooms and toilets are there but little else, Parking is at a premium so get there early or you will have to park in the previous parking lot and walk, and it's a fair distance. Not crowded and lovely Florida sand.

  Cons: Parking is limited and you have to pay entrance fee for access.

  I love this beach. I have been to Playalinda Beach many times because of how beautiful the beach is. The nude section is huge with lots of spots to set up camp and be comfortable walking around, sun bathing, and swimming nude. The back country part is great as well if you really want a good private space to relax nude at.

  Playalinda Beach was so much fun. Very clean and taken care of... We had a blast there. We met some friends, set up our beach umbrella and loved it. Plenty of people there, most were nude and very friendly. We even got to see a rocket launch from Kennedy, which was an added bonus. All in all, we would highly recommend this beach for your nude enjoyment.

  The beach as it should be. No amenities; no water, no power, just a brick shit house, literally. take the catwalk over the dunes and you`ve arrived in naked nirvana. friendly people everywhere. Walking the beach is terrific from one end to the other. The nudist interest seems to be expanding down to lots 12 and 11 depending on who gets there first, nudist or others.

  Cons: insufficient parking for the demand; thus the nudists are heading south on the beach during peak times

  Get back to nature at Playalinda Beach. Great place to go! Parking lot 13. No one bothers you and everyone is friendly.There were quiet a few couples the last time I was there. Everyone looked liked they were enjoying themselves.

  Pros: Beautiful beach! Able to walk a long way along the beach.

  Cons: There were a couple of guys playing with themselves. Don`t ruin it for the rest of us!

• Nice Beach, Warm Water

  This was our first visit to a US nude beach and we had a great time. The sand was on the coarse side compared to resort beaches we have visited in Jamaica but still very nice. The beaches reminded me of areas of Delaware or New Jersey. The water was perfect. The waves were gentle, the water was warm and the undertow was ok. We encountered only friendly people. We enjoyed walking from lot 11 to 13. We arrived later than planned and had to park in lot 11 but the walk wasn`t bad. We had a great day at Playalinda Beach and will return anytime we are in Florida.

  Pros: Warm, calm water. Nice people.

  My wife & I visited this beach & loved it. When we first arrived we were not sure where the nudist part of the beach was. Then I figured what better way than to just ask the guard at the gate. Amazed by the information they were telling us , We were now comfortable with be nude on the beach .. Guards came right out and told us , most nudist hangout in area 13 . But It`s ok to walk the entire beach. We have found a new beach !!!!

• One of our favorite beaches!!!

  We`ve been to most Florida, California and Hawaiian nude beaches and Playa Linda is probably our favorite. I didn`t score it a 5 since I`m still looking for one, however this beach may be it. Take advantage of the National Wildlife Refuge also, while you`re there. You have to get there early on weekends and some weekdays, unless you don`t mind walking a mile or so. Regards, R and L
