• A lovely resort

  Top notch location and facilities. I literally count the days every spring until I finally get to go.

  Pros: As above the location is very secluded but not too far as to be inconvenient.

  Cons: The only thing this place is really missing is a beach, but since it is not situated on a lake it's not really feasible. The residents can be kind of clique-ish but I'm guessing that applies to all resorts.

• First nudist experience here

  My wife and I came here for our first nudist club experience. We have never had such a more relaxing weekend. Very friendly staff, and patrons all over. Can`t wait for many more returns

  I have been told by one long time local supporter of this park, who has travelled, that the "Pond" is a on the high end of any criteria he uses to rate a naturism resort. Personally, I liked my week stay here. (I fit in quick :-) The investment here for basically a six month seasonal business is huge. Regarding a complaint of high day cost, I disagree. The main pool is laaarge, so there is substantial deck and lounge chairs all around it and this blends into the conversation pool/bar and then there is also a smaller heated indoor pool as well with the built in hot tub and dry sauna.…

  Pros: large well kept grounds so a variety of activity choice

  Cons: outside persons doing deliveries at the main door were a spoiler for first timer

  We enjoyed the pond alot and it is our regular destination when we have the ability to go. It was my wifes first experience at a naturist resort and she loved it, a great thing we now share. We were both surprised at how friendly everyone is there which just adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would only change two things about it, the 9pm closure of facilities and the temperature of the main pool (I went in a man and came out a boy). Overall, we can`t wait for the warm weather to come so we can go again!

• Lovely resort outside Toronto

  The Ponderosa is a lovely, well-run resort with pretty, open grounds and lots of space. It is located in a rural area, for seclusion and privacy, but there are towns just a few miles up the main highway where you can go eat or buy necessities if you want to. We found the residents at the Ponderosa to be very friendly and nice. They`re obviously proud of their homesites and resort. The owners are always in evidence and available. The resort is very well maintained and the facilities are great! There was always something going on on the weekends... dances, get-togethers, etc... but the best part…

  Pros: lovely resort and facilities, great outdoor hot tub, lovely rooms, nice people

  Cons: 9 rooms sharing one bathroom, low water pressure, facilities close too early

  The conversation pool with swim up bar is the highlight. Big hot tub outside and a pool and hot tub inside. Huge outdoor swimming pool (but very cold). Staff is nice and most of the residents are as well. We did run into one resident who acted like she owned the place and was very rude and full of herself
