• Very old and not really well maintained

  I had to cut my visit short (rainstorm and travel), but the part of the resort I saw was really in need of some TLC. The bathrooms, shower, and pool/hot tub are all really dated. The hot tub has about half the jets that do not function, the pools were having pump problems, and the place had a very "run down" feel to it. It was OK, but pretty disappointing.

  Pros: They are very recently under new ownership and it was apparent that a lot of work was beginning that will give it a good facelift.

  Cons: Very run down. Sunday at noon and it was virtually deserted save for those who reside there. Facilities are in very poor shape.

• Great place, nice folks!

  Flew out from Atlanta just for the Road Kill Naked Cross Country 5K and had a great time while we were there. Brought some friends along and everyone there was really, really nice to us. The race was very well put together (professional timing and everything - wow!) and we truly had a great time participating. Unfortunately we had other stuff to do back in Dallas that night so we didn`t get to spend as much time around the place and utilize the pool as much we would have liked after the race. Great folks, nice facilities and would definately go back again!!

  Pros: Very private, extremely nice people, nice facilities

  Cons: 1.5 hours from Dallas` Love Field area so kinda far to go for the day but worth if if you go with plenty of time to enjoy it

• A fun filled resort relaxed atmosphere resort.

  We visit this resort regularly and have made it our place of choice. It is clothing optional. The people are friendly and definitely socialize with us unlike other clubs we have attended where we didn`t feel as welcome. The owners, Rick and Teresa, are always super nice when we visit. They have 2 pools and a hot tub. Both were clean and well maintained. Occasionally we`ve played in some games as well they have. Their are rental cabins available. • Cowboy`s Home

  For cowboys and cowgirls this might be the ideal place. There is plenty of RV space. The club house is a bar room and dance floor. The atmosphere is country. If the smell of livestock nearby discourages you then this is not your favorite.

  Pros: Western atmosphere

  Cons: Smoke filled room. Not the place for my kids.
