  I've been a member since 2020. I was really impressed by the fact The Travelites follows the "best" traditional nudist values with a high moral code, something very important to me. The owners are not only the nicest and most friendly that you'd ever find, but great historians of nudism. Every year since I've joined I've seen constant improvement by Cheri, Larry, and Brian, from expanding the grounds to improving the facilities. If your looking for a friendly cozy nudist getaway you can't do much better than the Travelites.

  we have purchased a new travel trailer and it will be put on the 8 acres. It cost the same to rent as any of the accommodations with a complimentary breakfast in the morning. This must be reserved in advance.

• POOL IS THE CLEANEST IN THE STATE

  This 33x18' pool is the most sparkling pool in comparison with other SC destinations. It is swept at least daily if not more. The steps to the water are wide enough for people to pass one another . Indoor accommodations are super esp. with a complimentary breakfast and coffee for all. Volleyball nets (water & grass) are brand new as are the volleyballs. You can sit clothes-free on the front porch as well.

  Pros: Spacious, friendly, clean, welcoming, plenty of parking. Great grounds fees at about 1/10 of the nearest.

  Cons: Wasn't known about sooner.

  The Travelites Nudist Retreat and Club is located on 7 acres just southeast and adjacent to Columbia, SC at 820 Horrell Hill Rd., Hopkins, SC. There is a large pool, great for volleyball, as well as lawn volleyball, hot tub, 2 decks, chaises with 3" pads, clubhouse, shade as well as sun and flower beds. Call before visiting: 803.695-1937 Travelites members are welcome any day that is sunny. We are not a resort; we are mostly a day visit destination, but there is plenty of RV and tenting space. Members and friends are welcome as overnight guests.

• Nice relaxing afternoon

  I had an opportunity to visit Travelites for a few hours this past Tuesday. It was a very nice relaxing afternoon after the 4 hour ride from my home near Atlanta. Cheri & Allen have a great place to allow friends to engage in good conversation and soak up some sun while letting all the daily stress go. The hot tub was great for getting the kinks out after the drive and they haven`t returned since. I will definitely be returning when all those stressful things build up so I can just chill out in the hot tub (no pun intended)

  Pros: Restful location, good company, hot tub, pool, guest house, good mix of sunny and shaded areas.

  Cons: 4 hour drive from home

  With the great new pool, water volleyball is an added activity available here. The guesthouse provides visitors with options of spending more time without worry about the weather. Lots of tenting spaces as well as RV space available.

  The 18x33-ft. pool (4-ft. deep) is wonderful to float around on or to play water volleyball. It`s clear and clean. The brand new guesthouse can accommodate 4 to sleep right now. There is lots of room for tenting as well as driving up in an RV. New flower beds are being created each season.

• Halloween party was great

  Travelites` Halloween party was attended by folk not only from the Midlands of SC but also GA and North Carolina. First place costume award went to Deby (Scarecrow) from NC. Mike from GA won the pumpkin and took home a (made in the USA) glass beer mug. . Food included 2 varieties of sauteed shrimp & rice, tossed salad with all sorts of vegetables, garlic loaf, Halloween Cookies, and black raspberry ice cream plus of course, the garlic/spinach dip, mango salsa and assorted chips and crackers. . The hot tub was well-enjoyed. .

  Pros: People wonderful, food fantastic as was hot tub.
