Different way to the Hot Spring
5.00If you leave the campground...go past the old power plant...then go up to the road. A dirt road goes all the way past the hot springs, but you are on the other side of the river. As you get close, about a mile, you go down a trail to the water and cross. Most of the time...it is knee deep. It could be much worse if you cross after large storms. Once you cross the river, go up the trail and go to the left, passing the palm trees. The dirt road is easy traveling on by foot, since they lock the gate up above the Power plant.
Pros: It is a great place to be naked with strangers.
Cons: It is a mile back to the campground...after relaxing for several hours in a great hot spring.
