RE:Florida nudists are raising concerns about proposed legislation

Hi there,
It seems, there is a trend growing...a trend to change legislation to make it impossible for naturist to enjoy their lifestyle.
The traditional approach, which consist of assuring the authoroties all will go well if they grant a legal status for a clothing optional beach , take ages and is failing!

There is the need for a new approach.....if we want a future for Naturism!
Good day, I am Vince, a French Naturist calling Australia home for almost 30 years.
Here the leaders of the Australian naturist industry have failed us...the naturism industry has not develop and has even shrinked...so a new approach was needed to develop naturism in Australia...

I decided that if Naturism was declared a religion the authorities will think twice prior to removing any of our rights and freedom to practice our religion ritual ( being nude in natural settings) and if they were to ignore our rights, this will give us ground for legal actions, which will then attract medias attention which in turn will result in more support for us, as no one should be discriminated for their religion...

I am aware that won't be everybody cup of tea, but it is a way to circumvent the current opposition we encounter from the authorities and textiles among many conservative countries.

Developing the Naturism religion will only reinforce the naturism position and benefits naturism around the world, as while definitions of naturism and religions differ from countries to countries, there are in most country enough legal background that could be used to establish naturism as a genuine religion. Futher more once it is legally ( likely to occur after a first court case) in one country, it will open doors for similar recognition in others.

Why fight for ages against conservative leadership and textile opposition to get one clothing optional beach here and there, when we can establish naturism religion and rights to practice in all natural settings?!

I have an online blog https//www.vince2021.blogspot.com with many entries but the one I suggest you look at is " Naturism, my religion", and " ensuring recognition for Naturism"...it will provide you as to why Naturism is a religion in Australia and how the first court case will be won!
For those who are impatient and not interested in reading, I have uploaded some videos clips on youtube and will post more in coming days:

Stay nude, Stay safe, Have fun!

Kind regards

Vince

This is just the new state of politics in this country and definitely what's going on in Florida! For some reason, the thing is to light your hair on fire and scream about anything that is different to your beliefs. very sad

Sounds like accurate assessment of the situation.
