- personal choice whether to arrive robed or disrobed. There is a house or 2 in the area, nut nudity is not illegal. If arriving disrobed, best to go past the trail head and turn around so that you will exit the car on the trail side with your car acting as a buffer to the neighborhood.

- I changed my mind, I will be attending. Looking forward to a new trail to explore, and good people to interact with! See you all on Saturday!

- Question, do we have to arrive disrobed in our vehicles? On the other hikes( Mt Tabor, Peru Pt) I arrived clothed and disrobed in the parking lot. Wasnt sure about this one with the location being along the rd if that would be a "no no" as far as the VT rules

- Sounds like a plan, hopefully it warms up a bit

CLOTHING OPTIONAL HIKE IN VERMONT
We will meet at the trail head at 10:00am and the hike will start at 10:30am. We will be hiking the Haystack Mountain Trail located in Wilmington Vermont. The trail is an in and out trail, meaning we hike out the same way we hiked in, total length a little over 4 miles and had approx 1,000 ft elevation gain, so listed as an easy to moderate hike. The trail begins from a trailhead located in a neighborhood and quickly enters Green Mountain National Forest. The trail is wooded and begins in a hardwood forest before transitioning into a stand of pines near the top. From the summit, there are excellent views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. If enough interest, we could stop for food and libations in Wilmington after the hike.
