Group taken over
I agree far too many fake profiles on the site of late which need more policing and moderation. Some are easy to spot like those with textile or no profile photos. Management should take action more quickly or engage a few members as moderators to swiftly eject the intruders.
I agree it makes being in a group not enjoyable , as for mods of groups many people start them and lose interest and they go unchecked. I use to have several groups down to one and it was open to anyone till recent when I started getting the spam fakes and deleted them than needed permission to join. mostly I allow certified only but that's not fair so if I see they have a profile and I see they aren't posting spam in every group they join I let them in. it's easy to boot the spammers and easy to identify them.
