This TN site appears to be dying
The Chat room used to get up to 500 or more every day. I remember one day when it hit 600, but now it barely stays above 300. In the evening, the site can't even stay above 200, so it is clearly losing members.
This group, as well as most others, seldom gets any posts now that the site is dying off. I read most leave because of the draconian way the Mods rule the chat room. I wonder why the owners of the site don't care that the site is dying and losing members.
They may not care as long as TS is doing well.
There are far fewer members of the TS site than here on TN. The TS chat room maybe gets just above 100 somedays.
They are not making any money from the TS site.

I think part of the problem is also the volume of fake/fraudulent accounts, which creates a lot of crap to deal with.
I sometimes wonder if non-certified accounts have too many powers. Perhaps they should be limited in the number of friend requests (or even none) and messages (or even none), and be given a window of 2-3 weeks to check out the site before either having their account deleted or becoming certified. Certification is free, so there's no requirement for a paid membership, but I think it would reduce the number of fraudsters who use stolen pics, etc.
If that put a significant dent in the crap then maybe more users would stick around.
Just a thought.
I posted this in response on another group, but it applies here too!
The solution is simple:
1. Read only until you are paid and/or certified. (I would exempt those long time accounts that have shown they are genuine).
2. No posting media until you are paid and/or certified. This includes the profile photo -and- the profile photo must be of you or something innocuous. No celebrities, no random photos off the internet of porn stars.
3. Delete the non-paid accounts after a year of inactivity. Legal reasons may prevent the deletion of paid accounts, even if not active for an extended period of time.
4. Disable posting to any group/forum that ceases being actively moderated for more than 30 days. Delete it after a year if no one takes over active monitoring.
5. Delete any group/forum that goes more than a year without any activity. Many of the groups are repeats of the same thing, and they should be merged if possible.

The owners don't care at all!!! That's it in a nutshell. They don't respond to inquiries or complaints or suggestions. They don't make improvements. If they do, its years in the making. And then they make an improvement and something else is taken away. Ridiculous.
I'm only on this site now because I'm a paid member. For those of you unhappy here... go check out NONSHY. It's an incredible website. The owner/creator/user is completely involved and answers questions too! How novel! The site is created very well; he explains his reasons for his rules/guidelines/coding. I was hesitant at first to check out NONSHY, but now I'm 100% in! You won't regret it.
