Nude at home...

Good day. Three summers ago, I had two major surgeries, each requiring months of rest. Obviously, I was home naked all day. I was so used to it that when the doorbell rang twice, I opened it without thinking. Once it was the phone company employee who had come to check the Wi-Fi line, and the second time it was the carpenter who had come to fix a piece of furniture. When they saw me, they were surprised and said, "Well... you're at home..."

Funny how you get used to being naked. So far all Ive done is walk past the door with my clothes on when it rings. Or the wife answers the door and I dont get to be naked. Darn it.

Never opened the door to anyone when I was nude. Did have a meter reader and next door neighbor walk in and catch me nude.

I'm naked at home as much as possible! And, yes, it is very easy to forget sometimes that I'm naked and I do small things, like go to the 'fridge in the garage for something when the garage door is open. I have never answered the door naked, although I have stepped out onto the front porch to bring in a delivery...while the delivery driver is still in the driveway.

Recently my front door screen needed some attention. The wife wanted me to remove the decorative insert in the screen and just leave the mesh part. The paint on the insert was peeling and looking unsightly. With the job was completed, the result is a screen door that looks like it's not there! I walk back and forth by the front door quite a bit in the course of a day and I don't pay any attention to passing traffic on the street or passing pedestrians. NOW, with the new screen installed, the view from the outside looking in is quite different. The insert used to block the view SOMEWHAT. That's no longer the case.

With the new screen, answering the door naked has moved UP on my list of things to do!
