Long walk from Waugkegan beach (mile or so)....it looks like the beach ends. Keep going. Then, there always has been a thin area that is cluttered with downed trees and foliage. Find a little deer trail through (less than 50 feet).... opens to a beach area that really no one goes to. 24 minute walk from parking lot that is FREE during the week.
