Clothing optional bar
I wanted to share a C/O opportunity I had recently here in the Seattle area, and a meet and greet as well at the same time with another TN member!
We've been chatting at random for several months about meeting at a particular bar that has been pretty open about allowing nudity within the bar, while at the same time just casually "hanging out" and drinking beer. That very much interested me because I love to be naked, and as well am not shy about my nakedness as long as it's an accepted option. So we finally met, and after about 30 minutes or so, he asked if I minded if he got naked. Of course I said go for it. I appreciated the simple respect of asking first, very cool. That put me at ease, so after a couple minutes, I also stripped naked, and we were the only 2 people totally naked inside the bar at around 4pm or so. Which it wasn't packed by any means, but there were about 20 to 25 people there, and no one freaked out or got offended or said anything. We stayed a couple hours just talking and enjoying the time totally naked inside the bar! Sure we were noticed, and some suggestive comments were made but in a fun way not offensive or nasty. I walked to the bathroom naked, went to the bar to order more drinks naked.........was a very fun and exhilirating and refreshing couple hours. The company and conversation was also very engaging and worthwhile. My first time being naked in a public establishment and I'm excited for the next opportunity to do it again!!
If I get the ok to share the guy's name I will do so on any responses, as well as the name of the place we met. But for now I'm just gonna be cautious and wait until the ok is given.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this??
Sounds like you had a great time. Love the whole "we just happen to be totally naked here" vibe in public. Exactly my scene. It's exciting but also does a lot (one hopes) to normalize nudity. Not many places where we can do that but, when you find them, it's great.
I've managed to hang out naked in a few spots that way, and my experiences have been much like yours--except maybe I'm the guy who gets naked first after asking if it's ok. Once the bartenders or staff see that you're ok, not going to be a problem, they can be pretty chill about the whole thing and maybe appreciate it since it's something different during work. Good times for sure.
Congrats Dan, glad you had such a good guide in the process and had such a great time. To answer your question. Yes I have had experiences like that too. Sometimes I was the one who asked permission to undress first and other times I followed someone elses lead. Surprising that it doesnt take long to just be comfortable and forget that all your skin is showing. Hope you can make it a habit!
