RE: Hippe Hollow

Has anyone ever visited Hippie Hollow near Austin, Texas? The park looks beautiful, but the shoreline looks rocky, and I don't see a beach of any size. What is your impression of the place, and how are temperatures there in the fall and winter? Please friend me and follow the Texas Naturists groups here and on Facebook. I look forward to your feedback. Thanks!me and gf went and we actually approached by boat, I don't know what actual rules are but we left all our clothes in our car at the boat ramp, lol. We were riding around in the boat all day nude as well as when we got to H.H.

When I lived in Texas I visited HH many many times. Then I moved out of state but recently returned to Texas and have visited HH twice in the past few months. It is an absolutely beautiful / wonderful place to go. You can either park yourself on a rock or under a tree and just enjoy the relaxing water or you can hike naked along the path or over the rocks. Go there if u are looking for a nice place to hang naked but if u think u r going to get action DON'T. I have seen many people arrested and hauled off by the Park Rangers. If I didn't live 3 hours away I would be there oh so often. Hummmm- makes me think about another visit this week. Love the place! On the neg side: winters get too cold to be naked, and summers can get super hot hot hot. The rocks hold the heat of the day.

Glad to hear the rangers are finally doing something about sex going on out there. It has been a number of years since I was there. I didn't stay very long. It was like a hippie love in. I assume that is where the name came from. I guess it might have been OK if some discretion was used, but nope right there in the open for all the world to see. That is what has kept me from going back. You just can't unsee some things.

I consider myself a regular to H H as i do the travel from DFW area at least once a month to include the winter months since there still days it gets into the 70s in dec thru feb time of year. Yes in the summer it hot, 90s to above 100. There are several web sites you can goggle with lots of info about it. There are also two groups on this site with info and pics of the location.
