The final cut in the nude.....possibly.
What a glorious weekend and I think I made the most of it out doors.Several jobs to be done to keep the garden tidy and prepare it for winter.I spent most of yesterday in the field with my chainsaw, so no opportunity to be naked. But today I got the mower out and took full advantage of the afternoon sun.I did have my gardening boots on, but otherwise it was an ideal opportunity to soak up the last of the sun.September can be an amazing month.
Well today is the 3rd October and not September and when the wind dropped it felt warm but didn't have the time to be nude outdoors but yesterday was a good nude day. I very much doubt it will be warm enough to cut the lawn nude again this year as it will need to be not done for most likely 10 to 14 days so about middle of Oct unless we get a real long Indian Summer.
I've been gardening nude all day here just south of San Diego. The weather has been perfect for a fall day. A little breeze and 74 with nothing but blue sky above. Planted some basil, romaine, kale, spinach and chives last month and got the seedlings in the bed today. I can't believe I'm still picking blackberries and there are still flowering buds popping up. Had to get up on the ladder to get the berries. Luckily the neighbors were all at work. Nice to be retired. I feel very blessed and lucky to be able to garden nude and swim nude in our private backyard. I don't know what kind of plumeria plants we have yet the flowers smell like the beach and sunscreen, There is a plant by patio door with blooms at face level. I get a burst of perfume every morning when I go out on the patio.

Me to Tevita. Wasn't the weather great on Saturday and Sunday for nude gardening
Still in the high '80s here in FL. Because of the all the rain we've been having, my gardens and other landscape foliage are growing like crazy. Along with the weeds of course. I can't wait for the cooler weather to arrive though we didn't really have an autumn last year. Looking forward to planting some cooler weather flowers. For now we have a powerful hurricane heading our way which could wreak havoc on my plants. Hopefully the hurricane will remain off shore.
Still mowing a bit here in Missouri. I took down the garden a few days ago, except for the green peppers and pablanos. They are still producing like crazy. Check out my pic of the final jalepeno picking. Got those canned two days ago. I had a 16' trailer loaded down with okra and tomato plants that I took out. Another good year of gardening in the bag. Still have the fields to clean up for the winter. A gardener's work is never done.
