Tanque Verde Report

I went out to the upper Tanque Verde Falls two weeks ago, the first weekend after our big snow (by local standards) and the the canyon was the fullest I've seen. It was snow run off water, so the water was rather...bracing.

I went out there with a friend on Saturday and the water flow was still impressive, but it was just windy enough that we didn't get undressed. There has been more snow in the mountains so there has been more melt to feed the stream. Still too cold for a swim, but listening to the roar of the falls is worthwhile.
