Nude experiences in non-nudist camping parks
Ahah. Cool! If there's a dog involved I would instantly think I was blessed. :D
I noticed that dog owners usually don't care about your nudity. Of all the dogs I've been in touch with on beaches, the owners are always pretty nice and never for a moment make any coments about my nudity.
My scout troop used to camp in a state park that had a remote group camping area (that used to belong to the scouts before the state bought it). There was a small spring-fed lake there with a great beach area. Skinny-dipping was the norm there. Also, being the 70s, several of us felt the need to streak to and from the parking area. All out of sight of the public, of course, except maybe a patrolling ranger.
Back before my wife's and my first public nude experience we were tent camping on the beach at Assateague Park. One night a very bad storm blew in with some severe lightening. The kind that really lights up the sky for a long amount of time. We were both sleeping nude, but woke up from the thunder and put the rain fly on the tent, still naked. The next morning the single guy tenting right next to us kept looking over and smiling like he had a secret.
Very tame I know, but that was the start of our public nudity.

Back in high school, I was on a church youth camping trip in Boundary Waters of Minnesota. We came across a group of men and women in their 20s on island skinnydipping. As we approached, they politely covered up. I remember wanting to ditch my youth group and join the nudists.
Ive shared this before, but worth sharing again here: My first experience with social nudity was camping at a state park in MD with a large group of my wifes friends. My wife and I had retired to our tent for the evening, and I was nude in my sleeping bag when some friends asked if we wanted to join them skinny dipping. My wife declined, but I said sure, and slipped on a pair of shorts commando to walk to the lake. When we got to the lake, about 10 of us altogether, male and female, everyone stripped to their underwear and got in the lake. Not my idea of skinny dipping, and clearly a problem since I had no underwear. So I asked if anyone minded if I swam nude, and they all said no problem, so I dropped my shorts and was the only true skinny dipper in the crowd. My wife got a kick out of that when I told her later.

Im curious how your youth group leaders handled that situation? Did they just treat it like it was nothing, or did they make a big deal out of it?
In Feb this year some fellow nudist and non- nudist friends and I made our way down the east coast of Australia by camping in two caravans. One guy and I had an informal challenge that any overnight bathrooms trips were to be done nude. We both pretty much did. Campgrounds in Oz are far more lit up than I expected. I pretty much did all as streaks but never did get bold enough to do it without carrying shorts along. My buddy the same. As far as I know neither of us were spotted.
