Summer Push
Ignoring the calendar and soltices, I have decided that MY summer is running from May 12 (Mother's Day) to my birthday on Sept. 29., a 20-week time period, 140 days. And the best time of year in Central Oregon to get out and get fit. I weighed in at 238.8 pounds at 12:15 a.m. today, got 140 days to get the bodyfat off, and the muscle tissue on, for a transformation that makes my friends go "Wow!"
If anyone wants to track along with me and see what they can accomplish, great. If anyone wants to keep me accountable, now and then reminding me of this post so that I don't slack, great. If you just want to imagine being the one who gets to soap me up in the shower after the workout, great. (I won't tell, ha ha.)
So here's me at the very start of May 12th for future comparison reference. And here I go!
Glad to help on the accountability piece. I never was one for scales though. Sometimes I need one when I travel, but that's about it. It's best to set other measurable goals that don't vary depending on the last time you took a dump.
It's one piece of data, and the easiest one to obtain. Yes, it bounces from day to day, but if the long-term trajectory is downhill, that's all I ask. :-)
