Didnt want to spoil the day with clothes
Normally Im nervous about the idea of driving nude but I have done it before. Today, at my wifes urging,I took the day off and went to Laguna Del Sol for some much needed relaxation. Lifes been insanely busy lately and I wanted to take full advantage of the day. So this morning I got up and as usual did not get dressed, got breakfast, took care of the pool, and read the newspaper online. Then it was time to head out to Laguna Del Sol for the day and decided I didnt want to get dressed, so I packed up sunscreen and a couple items, went to the garage, threw the stuff in the car (Ford Escape) and climbed in. Then I opened the garage door as we are in a subdivision with neighbors across the street having direct view into our garage plus they happened to be out front. I pulled out and drove the 31 miles of busy suburban 2, 4, and 6 lane roads to Laguna Del Sol. Only then did I unfortunately have to quickly put on shorts as I was outside the gates and had to go check in. Once checked in went back to the car and lost the shorts. I then had a great day at the resort including meeting woodsman21. At days end I went back to the car and drove the 31 miles again. I never did have to cover up at all as no other cars drove even with me and none pulled up even so they would have a view. Back home, there was no reason to get dressed and most likely wont be any until tomorrow afternoon. Id call this one of the best days Ive had in quite some time.
Were shorts sufficient for check in?Someone on this board commented once that a resort he attends told him to be sure to wear a shirt also next time because check in was outside the clothing optional zone!
Yes. At Laguna Del Sol when visiting and not a member you pull up into a parking lot outside the gates, walk a ver short distance to a pedestrian path through the fence to the admin/library/evening lounge building. Once through the fence you are in CO area. People (not staff) are nude in the lobby area all the time.
Did your wife join you on the trip?
Not this time. We have been short staffed at one of our businesses and she had to work. It was nice though, with back issues then COVID I hadnt been there for quite some time. I didnt get there in 2020 and only made it one time in 2019 but had bee going a lot in years prior to that. Despite that a bu ch of people Ive known welcomed me back and asked how Id been doing and asked about my wife as well.
