Visiting Italy in August

Any advice about the Cappocoppa beach near Ostia? We would be there the last day of our trip and staying in Ostia. Seeing Ostia Antiqua in morning and spending time on the beach in the afternoon.
Is it easy to get a taxi back from the beach?
Is there somewhere to get dinner near the beach?
We will fly to home the next day

Croatia was our first choice but no direct flights from Toronto and with Covid rules we don't want to risk flying through other jurisdictions

We are definitely traveling. We just want to minimize risk of government complications.
