I live alone in a rural area so I'm naked 24/7, inside and out. I have very little pit hair but I don't use deodorant unless I'm getting dressed to go somewhere. I actually enjoy a male musk smell which is why I'll go a few days without washing under my foreskin.
Do armpits with minimal carry less body odour? As a guy with uncut cock, I think the smell of an unclean cock seems to be different from body odour, no?
I think that is a habit of former times,My father only took a shower once a week. I never thought he smelled badly -- just smelled like my dad.
When I was a boy we only bath once a week. I think in those times it was common in Germany not to shower but to bath. Many people worked hard and sweated. So many people smelled. But you was used to the stink and didn't realise it. Today it doesn't bother to take a shower. I don't like the smell of sweat. On the other hand I don't like people who smell like a perfume shop. It depends on the right measure.
Body odor is really a misnomer. Much of "hygiene" is to get you to buy scents and chemicals that don't serve you. Sweat doesn't smell itself, but the bacteria which feed on it do, which can stay on your skin and body hair. So if you take off your shirt when you start to get warm rather than letting it absorb your sweat, it stays fresher longer. Ditto for taking it off when you cook and it absorbs food particles or smoke. I mix baking soda with coconut oil and a couple ingredients as a natural "deodorant" that absorbs my underarm sweat and keeps those salts from getting absorbed by my skin or shirt. I also just rinse my hair in the shower and clean it with baking soda once a week. It seems to work better than shampoo which both strips my hair of its oils and leaves its own chemical deposits that build up when I use the same shampoo. In the US many have this crazy idea of covering up natural smells with unnatural chemical ones. I think soap and water are best to get a fresh clean start.
I have not used deodorant in about 20 years now I hate the way it feels in my hairy pits and just think it is not good for you to try and block a natural process. Most deodorants have aluminium in them which is really not good for you. I will shower probably every other day and use a hypo-allergenic shower gel all over and then no deo or body spray and I do have a strong pronounced musk from my pits but I like the smell a lot so it does not worry me at all and I really do not care if others find it offensive. I much prefer to smell a persons natural musk than perfume. On very rare occasions when maybe I have to go to a wedding funeral etc I use a natural crystal deodorant stick which helps keep the musk at bay a little for a few hours. I celebrate my smell and hope other men do the same.
You are right. The two have different smell which can be both offensive when the smell is so strong. As for me, I am very hairy on my armpit and pubes as I will never shave those areas at all but I never use deodorant at all. I am fortunate that I dont emit that musky manly smell that normally comes out when a man sweat. When I sweat even excessively, the smell that I will get is that salty smell that comes out from sweat and nothing more. As for the foreskin, it is more for hygiene purposes (Im cut). When the smegma builds up which is common for uncut men that doesnt wash their jewel on a regular basis, that creates bacteria since the smegma is trap inside the foreskin that can pass through the piss hole (dont quote me yet lol) or if you decide to have an intercourse especially with a woman and your penis has a lot of smegma, you can easily introduced bacterial infection inside the womans vagina.
A little bit of smell is ok but when it is excessive, it can be very offensive.
Greetings fellow nudists! I think I commented on a similar topic on another page. So I got inspired to finally do deodorant but the natural way. It didn't end so well haha. Maybe it's because I'm still young/my diet. I love onions, well seasoned food, etc. lol. I did an internet search and found a better way to keep natural that involves using baking soda. Apparently I wasn't using enough of it. I added a little oil to mine. And for those who like me tried it out/experienced embarrassment, let me make your life more dignified lmao...lemon/lemon juice worked wonders!!! This got rid of the overly musky smell and allowed the baking soda mix I made to do its job. I got home thinking I would smell...nope...just smelled like the baking soda mix. I mean this natural way works even better than deodorants. As for cost, I'm not sure if I'm losing money yet. I just know that deodorants go too fast, and they don't work as they're suppose to all the time.
