Breaking: SpaWorld fully open Monday August 14!
The only noticable change to the men's area was the force of the massage jets. They are stronger now.
I asked about the changes at the front desk and they said that the most change was to the women's area. I didn't see this area, so I have no idea what changed over there.
It was a bait and switch. They made it appear changes would be made to the men's area but all the upgrades/maintenance was done on the women's side. The women were using the men's side while the work was going on.....and one of them was confused, so while I was standing there naked in front of my locker, she walked in looking for her number...........until the attendant told her she was in the men's room. You should have seen her cover her face with both hands and run for the door. The attendant and I got a good laugh out of that. They did seem to get a couple of small jets working that had been out but not the pool that's been shut down for years, nor the floating jet nearest the door. Disappointing that they were less than up front about their work but it's still a great place to soak away your worries.
Haha. Another change is there was a guy in swimming trunks there. I They allowed that. I heard from another guy here on TN that he saw a similar thing happening on another day and it seems to be a policy change. Theres a sign at the check in desk that says bathing suits are optional. Other days there were about 5 people wearing them. They are growing in number. This is a deal breaker for me.
