Latest Projects
Here are a couple of my latest commissions.
The first is a coffee table constructed using vintage wooden wine boxes. Each had to be disassembled carefully and trimmed. I adjusted the different thicknesses of each plank to be within .125 of each other. A natural clear finish was used to highlight all of the different logos.
The second is a console cabinet using book-matched rosewood veneer, inside and out. Again only a clear gloss finish.
Always fun to be in the shop working, bare!

RE:Latest Projects
If you are going to work with old nail-ridden wood, pick up a stud finder at the box store. Great for locating any metal that is hidden in wood- even an odd bullet! And yes the saw will send it flying toward you. I have eliminated that by changing to a Saw Stop.
