Miss hiking nude (if not being "caught")
I hiked nude in several state parks in western Pennsylvania before I moved to Florida. There were several less popular trails, or rural extensions of trails, that were fairly "safe" to hike without clothes and I wore a small waist pack with a pair of split shorts that velcroed on the sides. By lifting the pack, the front and back parts of the shorts fell down and a quick swipe along the sides secured them...giving the illusion of regular shorts. The only potential problem was that they obviously didn't secure between my legs,so if I happened to be up a hill and someone was behind me lower on the hill, then I was "busted". Haha...that only happened once, and the couple behind me clearly knew (I suspect they actually saw me do my "drop n stick" move) since I wasn't aware they were behind me until they were close enough to hear their conversation. I turned around and greeted them when I realized they were behind me. They smiled and greeted me as well. We briefly commiserated over the arduous climb, then they passed me and that was that. No problem.
Sadly, I can't find anywhere near me in Florida to go nude hiking. I've heard of unofficial places, but haven't found them yet.
Hopefully soon though!
I moved to the New Smyrna Beach area almost 2 years ago. Yes, we have a couple of nearby nude beaches but I , too, have been asking around for places to hike nude with no luck. Some people just don't want to share or publicize their spots, which I can understand to a degree. Others give vague suggestions...go to this national or that state park and find a little used area, or go to the statewide walking and bike trail system and find a little used spur. Kind of frustrating as in Arizona, there were many places off the beaten track where you could hike and sun nude.

I dont openly share my spot but I have offered everyone around my area to come run walk with me. If they DM me and are serious I dont mind sharing.
Have you asked in any of the Florida specific groups?
Yes, I have...and got very few suggestions that were vague. Mostly places like the Ocala National Forrest and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge...but those are both massive areas and the common entry/access points and trails are very public and, as near as I can tell, very popular. If I'm going to do something that is technically illegal, I'd rather minimize the chance of encounters and causing offense. Obviously, there are less popular trails in those areas (and others) , but where?
