Desert Sun
If you haven't heard yet, The Desert Sun Resort is no longer clothing optional. They closed for business last week. When they reopen they will not allow any nudity.

Sorry to lose another nudist resort.

When the resort was named, Desert Shadows, it was much more inclusive and not as cliquish after it became Desert Sun. There was a definite snobbishness and arrogance with many of the regulars. Some owning condos there weren't very friendly. We always patronized the bar, grill and shop. We booked massages in the spa. Still, it seemed that new guests or occasional guests weren't really welcomed. We stopped going years ago. Though we are saddened by the loss of another clothing optional venue, we won't miss Desert Sun all that much.

Business has been slow the last couple of times we visited DSR. We were there just a few weeks ago and met some nice folks and enjoyed our visit, though it was pretty quiet. It's sad that there's no longer a place for us in PS. Will Glen Eden remain? With the closure of other resorts in the west, will Mira Vista be next?
