Been keeping myself smoothly groomed for 20 years now. Maybe once a year, I'll let my patch grow back just a bit to see how silver my hair is now, but I can't stand the feeling of having hot, sweaty pubic hair while I am working outside so I'll shave it all off again. It does make a difference in the hot muggy heat of the south.

I totally agree about being better shaved when it is hot. I started shaving my pubs way back in high school, 70s . I have kept that area smooth all these years. However, I slowly started shaving more. Now and for some time I am totally smooth from my neck down to my toes. I am not very hair to start with. Nice to see more people are doing this now days.

I keep myself hairless as well. Started with just my pubic hair, now I only have hair on my head and trimmed short on my arms and legs.

I am much the same way - it'd be an absolute chore for me to maintain smoothness and I enjoy my body as it comes naturally (which is very hairy). No harm either way but I do wonder if sometimes I get some sideways looks because of it.Does anyone else think this may be an indication of the divide between Nudists (lean more smooth) and Naturists (who leave things to flourish as their body chooses)? Maybe that is far to big of a statement for something as minor as a swipe of a razor or trimmer.

It was an absolute chore with the fur trimming I use to do. I would get my wife to Nair the hair off my back, and I would take the clippers to my chest and belly, armpits, pubes were kept trimmed short. The amount of ingrown hairs I got on my back was insane, so I finally stopped. The only trimming I do now is I will trim back the pits 2-3 times a year, especially in the summer. I keep the pubes short, and I shave the sac. The rest of me is au natural. My body fur isn't so dark, you don't see it as easily until it gets wet. Then suddenly I look much hairier lol. Im sure I have gotten more than a few side eyes because of the fur, but Im ok with that. I've seen plenty of smooth nudist at our resort, I have zero issue with them shaving smooth its their preference. There is just no way I could or even would try and keep up with shaving my entire body, or even taking the clippers to everything to keep it really short.
