Back & Disheartened.
Hello!Everyone!
I have been a member here for a long time now, but not a very active one. Unfortunately, or fortunately, due to a severe health issue, I'm kind of stuck indoors for over a month and thought of utilising this time to connect with old friends and make new ones here. I've never been good at socializing much and thought of giving it a final try (To socialize more & also to take my mind off things). But I'm a little disheartened to see barely a few members active here. No regular posts, no interactions, no communications. Is a thriving group that I once readily wanted to be a part of now in ruins? Or just shifted to communications on a more personal level? Or maybe most members log in here for a short few minutes once in a while (like me) and are lethargic to post or interact much here. If so, here is a shout out to everyone to let's try and make this group happening again. The only group which identifies and unifies Bengalis on TN deserves better and so does efforts of senior members here who relentlessly try the same, except this time, I'll be joining you whole-heartedly if allowed.
I would love to see active members at least post a reply or acknowledge their presence actively or occasionally here. "Happiness is only real when shared" - A food for thought. I'm not worried about efforts being futile with this, and I haven't been a very active member to complain either. But I would really want to see this group as active as I saw it when I joined. I shall play my part too. Thanks for taking outtime to read this. Would really love and appreciate it if you responded too.
Regards,Ray.
It's good that when we are partly busy, partly inactive, partly shifted media and partly relying on communication on personal level actually, and old but rather inactive member has found new found enthusiasm. Hope, it is not only for the sickness days but long lasting. However, we have met at least twice in the mean time. And looking forward for more active members.
Thanks for your encouraging words. And definitely this time - in sickness and in health :) It's people like you who keep us motivated though. Keep the spirit high and keep me posted for further updates. Hope to meet soon. Take care.
