palm springs
In theory 'yes', in practice, 'no' I am afraid, there's several thousand miles between us and Palm Springs.
But, I'd like to say thanks for trying to engage other nudists here in attempting to make new friends and/or meet up with people. I for one would like to encourage members of this group in reaching out to other nudists, whether it be just for online friendships or real life meets.
We are lucky in that we have a close circle of local nudist friends, but we're into meeting new people who share our preference for living naked, as far as I'm concerned we can never have too many nudist friends. True nudist friends are more open and upfront than how even very old textile friends are about a lot of things. Hiding nothing physically from each other seems to encourage our minds to be far more open too, we like that and find ourselves socialising as nudists more as each year passes.
I hope you find people to meet there.
We've not visited Desert Sun in quite some time. We did, however, visit quite often when it was Desert Shadows. There was a period of time when we just didn't care for the people that visited DSR. I've heard much of that has changed and since the closing of Terra Cotta Inn and many of those guests now visiting DSR, we'll most likely return for a visit in the near future. Right now ... a bit too hot for my wife's comfort. We want to be naked and outside but with tempsin the102 - 110degree range... she won't last too long outside.
We have found a favorite executive golf course nearby. I get coupons for reduced green fees so we will begin retuning to DSR and stay at least a couple nights each time. Jury's still out on what the negative thingswe've heard and read but we like to make up our own minds about a place and will get there in the Fall.
