Part of the problem is that the same few self-righteousprigs come stomping down on the threads, as self appointed moralguardians.
Yeah, sure is a tough job, but someone has to do it. Left
without supervision, this would end up as one of the top porn
sites.
Or perhaps the forums would be more active because folks are not
immediately pounced on and chased away.
Ok Rockdad, so you agree with the thread titled 'Sex',
posted 9 hour ago by Robel, who says hi my name is robel i went
to talk about sex but there is no person to courage this thing that
is very shame. Perhaps you should welcome him/her to the site,
and have a good sexual conversation, so they know they're on the
right site for their needs.
What I've seen is thata fewof the regulars, you
included MoW, keep a thread such as you stated, going by
making snide remarks and calling "perv's" out. What should be
done and what has worked for me quite well, frankly, is to IGNORE
THE IDIOTS!If more and more regulars would just ignore these threads, they'd just die out and all these trolls want is for someone to respond, get regulars fighting amongst each other as they sit back and laugh at the chaos they've caused.
When there's a thread that is sexual and does NOT have anything to
do with nudism and you don't think it belongs here ... just ignore
it. ALL of those that respond to the idiotic threads by
trolls and perv's just keep the dang thread going, especially if
it's the regulars that continually post and post responses or do
their best stand up comedy jokes and one liners.
Those that feel the need to post nonsense and those that feel the
need torespond to the nonsense are going to do it whether you
or any of the others continually trash these people. If
the owners don't care and aren't willing to moderate or police the
forums, you or any of the other regulars aren't going to stop
it. It hasn't stopped for all your involvement thus far! Forum moderators work. I've seen it, I've participated as one and still do on a website that was much bigger and more popular than this one until it crashed and had to start over. Owners of sites have to be willing to loosen the grip on "their baby" and allow others that truly make the site and make it a great place to visit and share experiences, handle some of the responsibility to keeping this site what it was meant to be. I think the money issue clouds nudist website owners thoughts in regards to the issue of allowing "moderating."

The thing is when a new member with a blank profile first post is about the "E" word and if that person his/her eyesight they would have seen that the last post on say the men's room was this so they have got the information they wanted and left a reply there as well if they wanted.
This forum ain't what it used to be. There is no great discussions anymore-back in the day we had some good ones, but a few would draw it down to personal insults. Now, I look and see ongoing word game posts that I have no interest in, newbies-well intentioned or not-asking the same old questions and often getting beat up for doing so. I used to start a lot of threads-some about politics or issues of the day, and they pretty much got trashed because people prefer to insult instead of respectfully debate. I don't see any threads worthy of reading anymore-I'm just here out of habit.
I spend most of my time on the groups against the forum section of this site where the people seem more normal.
