Is nudity growing popular with younger generation?

At gyms, the open showers are becoming near extinct. But, question: is that anti-nudity at gyms increasing popularity of nude beaches and reaorst? I ask because this weekend at Pinetree there was another big increase in young, good looking couples visiting What do y'all think? Younger folks rebelling against the imposed nudity fear, and heading to the beaches and resorts to enjoy social nudity?

I think the businesses are getting away from communal nudity for liability and customer relations(dont want to alienate the textiles). The youger generation I think is much more open. Natural extension of not being as hung up on sexuality (I know not nudism) but is a offshoot as far as their actions.

I think there's still a strong feeling of hiding with the younger crowd. A pool here where random folks go skinny dipping late at night by climbing the fence. Often is younger 20 somethings, but by far 99% are clothed as to the 35+ crowd who will get naked. It's all media , movies and tv portraying the body as perfect and sculpted. Totally not natural.

I agree that younger people are more self-conscious though less prudish. People seem to fall into two categories: those who are self-conscious of their imperfect bodies and stay hidden (menevenwearing swim shirts), and those who are in good shape and a bit exhibitionist to not mind being noticed by younger and older people alike.
One positive difference I've noticed between fit men who are younger and the fit men of my generation (born in the 60s) is that younger men are typically not as arrogant as older guys back in the day. When I was younger my body wasn't perfect but I wasn't ashamed of being naked and found lifters preeners. Now the fit guys are more like coaches affirming healthy self-esteem; a welcome change.

Well, consensus of response appears to refute my 'rebel to nudity' theory. Dang! Was hoping nudity acceptance was already on upswing. I call open showers at gyms 'rainforests' and their loss does not make the world a happier planet. Best to all, and thank you for your good comments! Namaste!!

A month ago I was at a local nudist resort and met three (two women and one man) people in their early 20's who said they frequent the place on a regular basis. Also a Korean spa that I enjoy is full of apparently heterosexual young men in their 20s and 30s. When I was at Blacks Beach a couple years ago, there were a lot of young men and women enjoying their skin. I think you might be right.'
