Weight Loss
Have any of y'all experienced significant weight loss in recent years, and how has that affected your naturist lifestyle and nude recreation?
I have lost about 50 lbs., and I feel fantastic except for my chronic, combat related disabilities, so that weight loss has really helped me enjoy my nude recreation more. I don't think I ever really lacked self confidence so far as my appearance was concerned, but on the other hand I find myself much more happy in the nude around others, too. I'm approaching my 50th birthday, and I really love my six pack abs.
I still have about 20-25 lbs. to go, and I want to get that off by my 50th birthday and this coming spring. Tomorrow is September 1st, and I am definitely going to be very focused between now and January 1st on continuing to loose weight and feel as good as possible. That's really hard to do with so many chronic health problems, including a broken back and epilepsy, but I've become rather determined not to aggravate my chronic conditions with obesity.
Y'all friend me, OK, and have a great September and remaining 2016!
My wife has battled health issues for close to 10 years. At one point the doctors had her metabolism running so slow she gained 90 pounds. She finally found a doctor who would change her meds. She immediately started losing weight and had energy again. She lost the added weight. Of course she now has to deal wirh the excess skin rolls and drooping body parts. She accepts it, stays as healthy as she can considering her health and attends the resorts and beaches comfortably with friends. Nudism is acceptance of the body in any form.

How did you lose the weight, Jim?Ultimately, there is only one way anyone looses weight. That is, they have to burn more calories than they take in. I did it mainly through supplementation, because I cannot do hardly any exercise because of disabilities. Today was weigh in day, and I've lost yet another 5 pounds this month. I've lost well over 50, now.
I'm going to write a report, article on what I've done as soon as I finish a website that I'm currently building for my real estate business. If you would like a copy of the report, please message me here.

I understand the body acceptance belief in naturist lifestyles, but I'm not sure it's accurately defined or right for everyone.
It should be called body appearance acceptance. What you described was how your wife feels about how she looks, and that's cool, but if someone, including myself, has a body part or organ that is sick in whatever way they should not be acceptant of that; I don't think. For instance, I smoke cigars, and it makes me feel like crap, and I have a poisoned and toxic lungs, etc. I should not be acceptant of poisoned lungs, and I know it no more so than your wife should have been acceptant of having slow metabolism and being 90 pounds overweight. Some things can kill us, and we should not accept them, and this is true in other areas of life, too. I am really happy for your wife, too, though.
