Nudist Beach - Learning the hard way - Advice for newcomers

So I made it out to Gunnison nude beach 8/30 for the 2nd time this year.
I could not stay that long so I decided not to use any tanning lotion.
Not a good idea!
If you are circumcised, I highly recommend putting suntan lotion the the Glans of your penis, especially the corona!
Having sunburn on your corona HURTS and makes it super sensitive to the touch.
Take it from me! I'll never do that again!
Lesson learned the hard way.

Sounds painful. I cant say I ever had that problem, even without sunblock. My legs, and butt will burn badly, but nothing there. My wires breasts will burn but not the areola. Odd.

In the Spring of each year that is the only spot where I must apply sun screen. I guess it's because I'm old enough to know better.

I never use sunscreen and don't have any problem with sun on all body parts.

I'm fair-haired and light-skinned - I need sunscreen whenever I'm out in the sun for more than about half an hour. Even with SPF-50, I can't stay in the sun more than about three hours without starting to burn. You have my sympathy!

I never use sunscreen, either, and follow the tropical custom of staying out of the sun in the middle of the day.

Middle of the day = sunscreen. Late in the day = no sunscreen.
If I get a little sun burned I apply sunscreen later on which takes the heat out and the redness out too the next day.
Always apply moisturiser too as we all get pretty fried down-under.

Cheers, SBN.

It all seems to depend on some variable in human types and conditions. Everyone has to experiment and learn what they can take. I have never used lotion and never had a burn on the glans even with all day in the sun, like riding a tractor, the rest of me tans very slowly with lots of sun. If I wait too long to get exposed in the spring, and then suddenly spend too long, I can get a sun burn, but it's only a bit sore and goes away in 3-4 days, may peel one layer of skin, otherwise harmless. But no more of waiting too late. I'm spending all the time I can out working my backwoods gardens nude this year. Yesterday was nice, I cut sapling and tilled fresh ground for half a day nude in the sun. wanted a little rest and laid down in the sun to soak up a little more at a different angle.
