Nude swim
As a kid I remember going to a local area athletic club witn my father, brothers, cousins and uncle. It was like the Y but independent. Saturday mornings were men only and the afternoon was women only. Tuesday was womens day and Wednesday was mens day. It wasn't mandatory to be nude but most of the guys were. This was a place were fathers & sons bonded taking swimming lessons and just learning proper health. It was a way of socializing and teaching the young not asahmed of their bodies. Society today is so backwards. Everything is focused on sex or parents are afraid of sexual abuse. We were born naked and it is the most natural way of being. I miss those days. I do go to a korean spa where nudity is mandatory in the spa areas. I have nothing to hide and enjoy the male bonding.

it's to bad those days disappeared i wish they would go back to separate Y's .
I grew up swimming nude in a YMCA pool. Unfortunately those days are long gone. I do not swim unless I can swim nude, so I don't swim much anymore. A few days a summer I go to a campground that is clothing optional and I can swim and hike nude around the grounds.
Another great story of unfortunately a time gone by. A number of these places seemed to operate through the 60's but stopped in the 70's, any particular reason? The mens days were CO by the sounds of it, does anyone know about the womens days?
Been researching a little here and the sea baths on the Melbourne beaches appear to have had segregated areas and many, possibly most, of the guys swam naked but not sure about the women. That seemed to stop well before the 70's.
It would be good if there was some return to this as maybe some of the society concerns could be addressed. It's called education.
