"We're Headed for the Super Bowl!" or "There's Always Next Year!"
Well, after NFL week one is in the books, how do the Football-Fans-In-The-Buff feel about your team's chances? Some, as myself who can call the Tampa Bay Bucs my current home team, have the feeling we could be on the path to glory...undefeated and leading the division. All other teams in our NFC South are in the heap of ashes and a game behind the Mighty Bucs! Well, I'm enjoying it while I can, cause I know it can't last too long. And maybe that's not a bad thing, when those of us who are used to NFL mediocrity and may fall into the early-to-mid-season-doldurms. It renews our chance to grasp onto the Indian Summer and take those last seasonal opportunity to enjoy the weekend at the beach in the buff, while not worrying about the exciting game we may miss. Once the leaves fall and the snow flies, we are committed to being a grit-iron weekend warrior. Hopefully then, our teams will be back on the path to glory.
Where are you with your team? Heading for the Super Bowl or Waiting for Next Year...at the beach?
As a Patriots fan, I had predicted a 3-1 record with no TB. As of this weekend when we saw Jimmy G go down to injury, I still believe a 3-1 record is possible. After that, starting in week 5 with the return of arguably the best QB to play the game, if we stay healthy, I predict the super bowl! Besides, here in AZ, there are no real beaches. Dang I miss FL!

Maybe a 4-0 start, cause Coach Belichick knows how to win, with his team or anyone else's...no matter who is on the field. There might be a two week melt down after TB's return due to his timing being off and the rest of the team letting off the gas, but the Pats will be spinning in greased groves after they shake out and have their heads on straight in week 7.
Well, I was really optimistic the Steelers would get ring #7 this year, but after last week's debacle I am not so sure. It was like they forgot there was a game that day. Very disappointed. I hope they get their act together this week.
