On the beach
There are so many beaches I've been on naked I have lost count. OK most are clothes Optional. It can be hard to tell. When I (and a friend) arrive on the beach everyone is in swimwear. We settle down and strip, the only ones naked. Sometimes others follow our example. Other times we just mix with the textiles. I've had a variety of reactions, mostly positive. The latest was just before Christmas, naked apart from my white beard and Santa hat. So many snapped the naked Santa on their phones.
I have gone naked on many textile beaches. I just pick an area away from other people and have never had a problem. I have also gone for long walks down the beach leaving my clothes behind even when I see people walking down the beach in my direction. I figure if they keep walking towards a nude guy they must not be too offended by it. So far, I have always been right.
Sometimes go to a non CO beach where there are textiles and strip off. It's a quiet location with others there and locate myself away from them and if they walk along I remain as I am, seems to work OK.
Sometimes go to a quiet river spot in the bush, strip off and read a book, hikers and campers come through and all are OK, it is just one of those beautiful riverside places.
Today stripped off at a lake. Campers down the road. One car came up to see what I was doing, a husband and wife. They stopped, stayed in the car, I stood up and had a brief chat, all was good and they moved on.
If its sunny and warm at a beach I'm not very interested in being there if I can't be naked. Though when its cooler I still love visiting beaches for walks in clothing. I haven't owned any swimwear for many years and I've been a nudist for +40 years, it doesn't feel right to wear anything there on warm days. In wintertime I'll happily walk along our main town beaches in clothes, I don't do that when its warm enough to be naked, I go elsewhere so I can be nude. I prefer the wilder, natural beaches. Like others here I look to find a quieter spot to be nude at, my partner is often with me and she has the same attitude, people passing see might us but we've never had a problem about being naked. We've probably more relaxed about it now, we make no effort to cover up as we feel that indicates that we think that nudity is wrong, when we first went nude like this we tended to be much more aware of beach walkers. We don't get naked on main town beaches, away from these nudity with some discretion seems to be accepted.
@Olly. You mentioned losing count of the beaches you've been naked on, I tried to do the same, with the same result. I then tried to remember which countries I've been nude outside in, I'm not sure that I've remembered all of them either. Its easier to count the more recent places as I've usually got digital photos of us at the places we are nude at. Photos from +15 years ago of us nude are scarcer, we took films to be developed which included nudist shots but take far more nude shots using digital cameras.
It's been my experience too that some people who've seen me nude on quiet textile beaches are apt to take my nudity as a sign that it's okay to lose their swimsuits too. You can often cause a chain reaction if you're confident enough to set that example.
This is soo true. I have msny beaches near me, none C/O. When i get there, find my spot snd get nude, when others cum by and chat, they always ask if this is a nude beach. I answer no, bu msny likeminded people congregate here, so it's pretty safe. Just be on alert for rangers. This is usually enough to find them naked on their towels as well. Love bei g nude at beach!
