Age Appropriate Briefs?

The other day I went shopping for new briefs at the Jockey store (my old ones have been looking pretty shabby lately). I've always worn the Low-rise ones, with the cross fly in front. Just for comfort I decided to buy some in a larger size, ended up with the High-rise briefs--similar to the others but with a higher waistline. They're not as sexy looking as the low-rise ones, but are sure comfortable. Heck, I'm 70+ years old now, they may look a bit like "Old Fart's underwear", but what the heck. I'll gladly take 'em off too, for anyone who wishes.

The answer is simple. Just give up wearing any underwear. That is even more comfortable at age 72, or any age.

Leo, at our age we wear what feels good. If granddaddy briefs is what feels good, go for it. Yeah, we all like to go naked but we all enjoy the wide wide world so let's be comfortable when we are out there. I got my first pair of velcro-fasten shoes recently. A friend encouraged me, saying "they really don't look too 'old man-ish..' She's right, and boy are they comfortable to get in and out of. And my concession to comfort actually shows, My guess is that if you are with people who would see you in your undies, they'd be people who would soon see you out of them :). Fun post.

Full cut briefs for me any day. I prefer the feel of a the fuller brief with higher waist. I've tried the lo rise and bikini briefs and they always feel like they're riding down.. for me it's the good old high waisted classic brief. Agree with what the other guys say..if they're comfortable for you, that's all that matters.

When I wear an undie I want to feel as if it isn't there, while at the same time I expect it to keep my bits in place . For years I used Jockey's 'String Bikini' briefs and was told last year that this design was discontinued and no longer available. I always thought it was one of the most popular designs and used by a whole lot of guys wanting minimum coverage. So I was surprised it was out of production. I settled for the 'Tanga' which seemed a close second to the bikini briefs, but now even that is not available! What is wrong with Jockey that it takes off popular designs? Are they trying to sell their stock of other designs? I prefer a style that doesn't clamp around the thighs or groin area. Maybe I should just rely on a good old Indian "langot"!

Age appropriate briefs? Does that mean my underwear must be at least 66 years old? ;-)

PS. Leo. I had to check your profile. 40 maybe. 70 plus? No way!! If so, excellent job!!

The other day I went shopping for new briefs at the Jockey store. . . .

In my first post, I forgot to mention an added bonus of going to the Jockey Store (located in one of those outlet malls). Since it's the off season they were having a sale--buy two and get one free. And so I bought two "three packs" of briefs and got another for free--that's a total of nine new pairs of undies. In addition, they have a Jockey Underwear club where they keep track of your purchases and you get "bonus points" for all sorts of free gifts: toasters, tupperware, napkin rings, etc. In addition, since I used my United Airlines Credit Card I earned free Airplane Miles.

Now how can you beat that?? kinda' makes me want to go out and buy more underwear.

I guess we know what everyone is getting for presents this year from you. LOL. I'm a chubby guy at 5'9 230, 38W. I like low rise because they end at my belly and I don' t try to pull them up and over. I also like the styles with a soft waistband instead of the elastic feel. Now, as I do have a bit of an underwear fetish...one of my favorite pair of underwear to wear is a pair I got in a gift exchange. Buy a pair of underwear you would like to see the person who's name you drew wear. LOL. It was a great laugh. More so when the modeling started.
