Road Trip from Houston Going East

Hey guys,

My friend and I are going on a road trip starting from Houston. We're heading to DC which is why my friend will fly back home and I will continue on to Pittsburgh but still taking my time. I've contacted a couple of TN friends about hosting but I wanted to open up the lines of communication to those that we may be passing.

Here are some cities we are thinking of stopping in: New Orleans, Mobile, Atlanta, Raleigh/Durham, and DC. Then I'll continue to NYC, Philly and finally Pittsburgh.

We're gonna start Monday. We're both in our late 20's. Preferably would like to hang out with those around our age because we want to go out and such but it's not requirement.
