Security Questions
Do you feel secure giving out personal info...such as a phone # or email address... to people you meet on a site like this? ... especially if they have little or no profile entries, and they seem a little "too friendly" for someone you just met. No matter how nice they seem to be... doesn't that sound/look a little like they might want something other than just your friendship? :-/
On the rare occasion I have made plans to meet up with someone from here then I give them my telephone number so we can make arrangements but other than that I don't see why anyone would need it. As for email addresses, I think you'll find that many people will recommend that you have more than one email address and use a secondary one for online friends that you want to stay in touch with without giving away very personal identifiers like your real name, company you work for, location, etc.
