Backpack/Camping in Washington

Does anyone in Washington do any Backpack/camping? If so any good tips would be appreciated. I'm planning on 2-3 this year for the first time so looking for some good ideas and is it common in afternoon after day hikers leave for some good nude relaxation.

Heading to the Oregon wilderness to camp and watch the total solar eclipse occurring August 21. Won't be visible in Washington.
