Last summer we went on vacation back to Hawaii where we used to live, and on our first morning we got up early with the time difference and went to our old beach where we would frequently go nude when we lived there. It wasn't a "legal nude beach" but most locals knew that is where people would go to be nude and nobody bothered anyone. So we parked the car as we had many times before and left our clothes in the car and walked to the beach as we had 100's of time before.

Only to find out where we had previously hung out had grown up quite a bit and as we got to the beach we saw about 40 people walking and fishing and hanging out and none were nude. Then a younger couple came up to us and smiled and said "I guess the place has changed" anf said we heard this was a local nude beach as well
