What program do you use to send the photos in as I have never had any problems with jpg files and the file size as well.

This site is horrific for uploading any pics. In todays technology it shouldnt be as difficult as it is here. Other sites arentcas difficult.

Phones take horrendously large photos. I think they do that to cost you more airtime to send them. I always upload phone photos to a laptop where I can resize them and then save them to a more respectable file size before uploading.

You should also consider a decent point and shoot camera. Even the least expensive ones take better pictures than a cell phone camera. Also gives you the benefit of a self timer and tripod mount.

I don't know. Check out a few of the new I-Phones. When I got my I5 several years ago it was better that my $250 fairly new camera.
Plus the software to edit the pictures was much better.
Jump forward to the new I7 and the pictures are great. You can choose the size of files to send so pictures can be small.
Granted a good camera can't be beat but the cheap cameras are a thing of the past.
Same with going downtown and buying a GPS.

Since I don't carry a phone I bought a used kodak camera that has double self shot timer, takes 2 pictures at 10 and 18 seconds after trigger. Gives plenty of time to get in the picture. About $12 off ebay. It's taking good pictures. But I had to use a web base pixel reducer to get them under website maximum size to use here. Once that was done they went through just fine.
